Gateway - 2 hour delay (January 23) - CCA AM classes Virtual and PM classes as scheduled
______________________________________________________________________________________
Good Morning,
My apologies for the late notice, Gateway Technical College just sent a notice that all campuses will have a 2-hour delay due to the icy road conditions.
The CCA will be open for any students who come in, but will post all assignments online for anyone unable to come to school. Morning students can have a virtual learning day.
For the Edge students who can come in, we will assist with a study hall and look for directions from their professor for the morning classes. If you cannot come in, please know the afternoon Gateway and EAHS classes are held as scheduled.
School will be held at the CCA as scheduled for the afternoon classes.
Students with morning Gateway classes, please check your Gateway email for directions from your professor.
Again, I apologize for the late notice,
Dr. D
Based on tomorrow’s Winter Storm Warning, all EASD schools will be closed and activities canceled on Friday, January 12, 2024.
At this time, the high school facility will open on Saturday at noon for previously scheduled events. This is subject to change depending on the outcome of the storm and our ability to clear the high school lots and sidewalks.
Be safe and enjoy the long weekend.

On Monday evening the Elkhorn Area School District Community lost an incredible man in a tragic accident. Randi Wulf was an incredible person, husband, father, teacher, coach, and friend. He was a genuine outstanding individual. Humble, honest, caring, and sincere. He exemplified the greatest characteristics you would want to see in a person.
Mr. Wulf was a teacher and coach in Elkhorn for 29 years. He loved his students and recognized the benefits co-curriculars had in developing important connections and relationships with them. As such, Mr. Wulf’s family has requested to establish a memorial fund (bit.ly/48GRZYw) in his name to benefit the Elkhorn All-Sports Booster Club.
Donations made at bit.ly/48GRZYw will go to the All-Sports Booster Club in Coach Wulf’s name to carry on the mission and passion that Randi had and assist with providing access and opportunities to the students of Elkhorn Area School District.

TOMORROW, OCT. 4: There will be a nationwide emergency alert test sent to all TVs, radios, and cell phones at 1:20 p.m. CST.
Important information and what can be expected from the nationwide test: http://bit.ly/46BMHLO
